Article 1 – Organizing Company
BNP PARIBAS SA, with headquarters at 16 boulevard des Italiens 75002 Paris, a public limited company with a capital of € 2 499 597 122, registered at the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés de Paris under number 662 042 449, code APE 6419Z, hereinafter referred to as ‘the organizer’
From 6 April 2021 until 20 April 2021, the organizer organizes an online competition entitled ‘SDGs eggs hunt’ for its new website launch, accessible exclusively from the website designated by www.cib.bnpparibas, www.cib.bnpparibas.com, hereinafter the ‘Site’.
Terms and conditions to participate the online competition are defined in present document hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”.
Participation in this competition is free of charge and is not compulsory.
Article 2 -Competition duration
The online competition is accessible from the April 6th 2021, 16 h (paris time) until April 20 2021, 18 h (Paris time),
During this period, Internet users wishing to participate in the online competition (hereinafter “Participant(s)”) may attempt to qualify for a draw on the Site, which will take place on April 21, 2021] at 12:00 p.m. (Paris time) and which will select seventeen (17) winners from among the Participants who have validly submitted their participation in accordance with the provisions of Sections 3 and 4 of the Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the Online competition submitted after the above deadline will not be considered by the Organizing Company in the Online competition and will not give rise to any prize.
The Organizing Society reserves the right to postpone, modify, cancel or renew this Online competition if circumstances so require. In any event, his liability cannot be incurred as such in accordance with Article 10 of these Terms and Conditions.
Article 3 – Participation terms and conditions
3.1 Conditions for participation in the online competition
The online competition is open to any individual person of full age, whether or not a client of the Organizing Company and having at his disposal at the date on which the online competition started having access to the Internet, a valid personal e-mail address.
Only one maximum participation per tax household (same name, same mailing address) will be considered per Participant in the online competition.
Participation in the online competition implies a loyal attitude, meaning absolute respect for the rules and rights of the Participants.
Participation in the online competition implies the express and unqualified acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, of the rules of ethics in force on the Internet, as well as of the laws, regulations (including taxation) and other texts applicable to online competition in France. Failure to comply with the conditions of participation set out in these Terms and Conditions shall render the participation null and void.
Participation in the online competition of a minor individual person is strictly prohibited.
The Organizing Society reserves the right to request any supporting documentation from the Participant.
In any event, the Online competition shall not include the staff of the Organizing Society and of the service companies which participated in the preparation of this Online competition or of their families.
Article 4 – Competition conduct
Participation in the Online competition is exclusively via the Internet directly via the Site or from any hypertext link, URL or button placed on an Internet site and redirected to the Site, to the exclusion of any other means, including by mail.
It is expressly provided that the Site will incorporate a hypertext link to these Online competition Terms and Conditions.
Participation is strictly nominative and the Participant may in no case act on behalf of other Participants.
The development of the Online competition can be described as follows:
ON Tuesday April 6 avril 2021 à 16 h00 (heure de Paris), the Organizing Company will announce the launch of the online competition on its Site homepage (accessible at the following address: https://cib.bnpparibas) by publishing a post presenting the online competition and including a link to the Terms and Conditions.
During the participation phase from Tuesday, 6 April 2021, at 4 p.m. (Paris time) until Tuesday, 20 April 2021, at 6 p.m. (Paris time), the user wishing to participate in the Online competition must:
- Access the Site Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (Paris time),
- Navigate the Site articles to locate an “SDG egg” in the articles
- Click on the eggs to access the participation form
- Complete mandatory information (email address)
- Optionally complete the non-mandatory fields to obtain an additional draw chance.
- Identify other eggs in the articles of the site in order to get an extra chance to print
Participants who have taken this step will be eligible one (1), two (2) or three (3) chances based on their participation in the drawing of lots scheduled for April 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. (Paris time), which will select the winners at random.
The Participant undertakes to complete all mandatory fields of the Registration Form, providing accurate and correlative information to their credentials, before validating the Registration Form. As such, Participant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. The Organizing Society reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the information provided by the Participant.
Any information provided by the Participant in the form at the time of its registration which appears to be manifestly inconsistent or inaccurate shall be disregarded and shall result in the nullity of the participation.
After 20 April 2021 at 6:00 p.m. (Paris time), it will no longer be possible to participate in the Online competition in order to win a prize.
Article 5 – Prizes
The online competition consists of the following prizes:
- Prize 1: 2 category 2 passes for 1 day (between 23 May 2021 and Friday 28 May 2021 as available) to attend the Roland Garros tournament (value of €180 T.T.C) or 1 pass for an online event at the choice of the Participant Movin On Summit from 1 to 4 June 2021 with a value of €192 T.T.C or Viva Technology from 16 to 19 June “online Pass” €174 T.T.C)
- Prize 2: 2 category 2 passes for 1 day (between 23 May 2021 and Friday 28 May 2021 as available) to attend the Roland Garros tournament (value of €180.00 T.T.C) or 1 pass for an online event at the choice of the Participant Movin On Summit from 1 to 4 June 2021 with a value of €192.00 T.T.C or Viva Technology from 16 to 19 June “online Pass” €174.00 T.T.C)
- Prizes 3 to 17: 1 seat for an online digital exchange event with Craig Leeson (non-commercial)
The prizes at stake represent a total commercial value of between EUR 348 and EUR 384 T.T.C depending on the participants’ choices.
No application will be allowed for the exchange of such prizes, in particular for cash, other goods or services. Likewise, the prizes may not be the subject of requests for compensation.
Only one Prize will be awarded per tax household (same name, same mailing address).
Organizing Society reserves the right to replace any prize by an equivalent value should circumstances present the characteristics of a force majeure.
Article 6 – Prizes grant conditions
On 21 April 2021 at 10.00 a.m. (Paris time), the Organizing Company will set up a database composed of the Participants who have validly confirmed their participation in accordance with the provisions of Articles 4 and 5.
On 21 April 2021 at 12.00 p.m. (Paris time), the Organizing Company will draw prizes winners which will be made from this database by means of a computer algorithm (mathematical formula for the random selection of winners and which will make it possible to select the winners of the Competition.
The drawing of prizes shall shall make it possible to assign prizes according to the following system:
•The first Participant drawn by lot will be the winner of Lot 1.
•The second Participant drawn by lot will be the winner of Lot 2.
•From the third Participant to the 17th drawing the winners of Lot 3 to 17.
The results of the drawing of prizes will be announced on 21 April 2021.
If the contact details of the Participants are incorrect, incomplete or do not allow the identification of the winners, the drawing of lots will be renewed under the same conditions as mentioned above.
Only winners will be notified of their gains by e-mail sent by the Organizing Company, or any company authorized by it, to the address indicated in the registration form.
Article 7 – Participation to the competition is free of charge

The Organizing Company commits to refund expenses to participate to the present online competition to any individual participating and fulfilling the participation requirements defined in the present Terms and Conditions that have placed a written request sent by post mail. The connection charge for participating time will be reimbursed on the basis and within the limit of a 30-minute Internet connection, i.e. EUR 0.60 cents –– (EUR 0.02 cents per minute), indicating the exact time of connection and providing the name of the access provider and a copy of the subscription contract by which the connection was made.
All requests must be sent by mail to the above-mentioned address no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the online competition (as evidenced by the postmark), i.e. 21/05/2021 inclusive.
To be eligible for reimbursement of the postal communication costs associated with this application, interested persons must accompany the application with a valid IBAN.
These postal charges will be refunded by transfer to the account indicated on the IBAN, on the basis of a simple letter, of equal weight, at the economic rate prevailing on request (one refund per Participant, same name, same address).
In the event of a possible extension or postponement of the online competition, the deadline for obtaining the Terms and Conditions and the refund (stamp and Internet connection fees) will be extended by the same period.
Article 8 – Data protection
Within the framework of this Online competition, the Organizing Society, in its capacity as controller, collects and processes certain personal data concerning the Participants, such as: civility, surname, given name, e-mail address and any additional information requested from the winners, if any (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Personal Data”).
These Personal Data are necessary for the execution of the contract between the Participant and the Organizing Society pertaining to its participation in the Online competition. They shall be processed for the following purposes: organization of the online competition and management of the participants’ participation therein (and in particular for the making available of the prizes) and shall be used only in this context, excluding any exploitation for the purposes of commercial prospecting.
Participants are reminded that the information requested is essential for the organization of the Online competition and for receiving the allocation. Otherwise, the Organizing Society cannot be in a position to deal with participation and send in the case of victory.
In any event, all Participants’ Personal Data collected as part of their participation in the Online competition will be retained for the period necessary for their participation in the Online competition and, where appropriate, in the management of the prizes delivery, and for the applicable statutory limitation periods, and then deleted.

Finally, the Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission on Informatics and Freedoms (CNIL) or any other competent supervisory authority.
Article 9- Connectivity and use of the Internet
Participation in this Online competition implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible hijacking or pirating and the risk of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the Internet.
It is also strictly forbidden, by any means whatsoever, to modify or attempt to modify the devices of this Online competition, in particular in order to modify the results thereof.
Article 10 – Responsibility of the organizing company
The liability of the Organizing Company shall be strictly limited to the issue of the allocations actually and validly earned in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.
It is expressly recalled that the Internet is not a secure network. The Organizing Company cannot therefore be held responsible for the contamination by possible viruses or the intrusion of a third party into the Online competition Participants’ terminal system and disclaims all responsibility for the consequences of connecting the Participants to the network via the Online competition interface.
In particular, the Organizing Company cannot be held liable for any damage caused to the Participants, their computer equipment and the data stored therein, as well as for any consequences that may ensue for their personal or professional activity.
The Organizing Company may not incur liability in the event of Internet network, land lines or hardware malfunctions preventing the online competition to happen in good conditions.
Nor can the Organising Company be held liable in the event that one or more Participants are unable to connect to the Online competition interface or play the Online competition because of any technical problems or defects linked in particular to network congestion.
The Organizing Company will make its best efforts to allow access to the Online competition at any time, without being obliged to do so.
In addition, the responsibility of the Organizing Company may in no case be withheld in the event of routing problems or loss of postal or electronic mail. The responsibility of the Organizing Corporation cannot be sought in respect of all incidents that might occur as a result of the use of the allocated prizes.
The Organizing Company may not incur any liability if, in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control, it were required to cancel, shorten, extend, postpone or modify the conditions of participation (modification of the modes of access to the Online competition from the beginning of the Online competition or in the course of the Online competition, etc.) and the operating procedures of this Online competition. Information shall be communicated by any means at the option of the Organizing Society
Article 11 -Competition and Terms and Conditions modifications
The Organizing Company reserves the right, at any time and without notice or any obligation to justify its decision, to shorten, extend, postpone or cancel the Online competition and to modify all or part of the conditions of access and/or the arrangements for implementing the Online competition, without incurring any liability or claiming any compensation from it as a result.
Any changes will be announced on the Site.
The Organizing Company therefore recommends that the Participants regularly consult the Terms and conditions of the Online competition posted on the Site to be informed of any changes made.
Each amendment to the Terms and Conditions will also be tabled in the same way as this Terms and condition under consideration.
Article 12 – Acceptance and custody of the terms and conditions
Any participation in the Online competition shall give rise to full adherence to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with the conditions of participation set out in the Terms and Conditions will result in the nullity of the participation.
Any fraud, or attempt to defraud, manifested by the commencement of performance and committed with a view to obtaining undue payment, or non-compliance with these Terms and conditions, or any malicious intent to disrupt the proceedings of the Online competition, may give rise to the eviction of its author, the Organizing Company reserves the right to institute legal proceedings against perpetrator.

A copy of these Regulations, accessible from the Site, is sent free of charge (postage reimbursed on the basis of a simple letter at the prevailing economic rate) upon written request (within the limit of one request per household) to:

The request for reimbursement of these postal costs may not be made more than thirty (30) days after the close of the Online competition (as evidenced by the postmark), that is, on 21/05/2021. In the event of any extension or postponement of the online competition, these refunds would be postponed accordingly.
Article 13 – Intellectual property
The images used on the Online competition Site, the objects represented, the trade marks and trade names mentioned, the graphic, computer and database elements constituting the Online competition Site, are the exclusive property of their respective owners and may not be extracted, reproduced or used without their written consent, on pain of civil and/or criminal proceedings.

In the event of any dispute or claim relating to the Online competition, no oral or telephone requests concerning the interpretation or application of these Rules shall be answered for any reason whatsoever. Written requests must be forwarded to the Organizing Company within thirty (30) days of the closing of the Online competition (as evidenced by the postmark), i.e. 21/05/2021 inclusive, at the following address:

Any disputed interpretation of these Terms and conditions, as well as all cases not provided for in these Terms and conditions, shall be decided by the Organizing Company in its own right.
Article 15 – Applicable law and competent courts
These Regulations shall be subject to French law. The Participants are therefore subject to the French rules applicable to online competitions.
Any dispute arising in connection with the Game shall be the subject of an attempt to reach an amicable settlement. In the absence of agreement, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal.
