Asia Risk recognises BNP Paribas’ one bank approach with two awards

BNP Paribas has won Asia Risk's Custodian of the Year and Clearing Bank of the Year, in recognition of its institutional franchise strengths and integrated approach between Securities Services and Global Markets.

In a turbulent year, this commendation recognises BNP Paribas’ commitment to its institutional clients in Asia Pacific and the firm’s responsiveness in this rapidly changing market. It is the second year in a row BNP Paribas has won Custodian of the Year, and the first year winning the Clearing Bank award.

Custodian of the Year
Clearing Bank of the Year

After more than 160 years of continuous operations in Asia, BNP Paribas remains committed and continues to invest in its people and capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.

The Clearing Bank award was a true reflection of the joint value proposition of Securities Services and Global Markets.

BNP Paribas is one of a select group of providers able to offer innovative clearing solutions across all asset classes (equities, fixed income, ETD and OTC derivatives). The firm’s integrated model combines the strength of solutions from both business divisions demonstrating that BNP Paribas is stronger together for its clients.

Asia Risk noted: “BNP Paribas’ rapid response to client needs has become a hallmark of its franchise, and is largely thanks to the close collaboration between the bank’s global franchise and its expanding local network.”
