Top 5 ranking in Asia
For the second consecutive year, BNP Paribas has ranked in the top five of the Greenwich Leaders: Asian Large Corporate Banking and Cash Management studies, underscoring the bank’s strength in servicing some of Asia’s biggest corporates throughout the past 12 months.BNP Paribas placed equal #5 as a “Greenwich Share Leader”, capturing 25% of market share, and was again recognised as a “Greenwich Quality Leader” in China and Singapore in the Asian Large Corporate Banking study.

In the Asian Large Corporate Cash Management study, BNP Paribas ranked #5 as a “Share Leader” with 18% market share and was a “Quality Leader” in China, India and South Korea. The bank was also recognised for Ease of Doing Business, Quality of Advice and Customer Service amongst its cash management clients.
Under the Digital category, BNP Paribas collected honours for its Digital Platform Design and Digital Platform Security Capabilities. This endorsement from our clients confirms our continuous investments in our new user interface have resulted in better usability, complemented by the latest security protocols to protect our clients’ transactions.

Greenwich Associates interviewed 840 large corporates for the banking study and 1,073 large corporates for the cash management report, asking them which banks they consider to be an important provider of corporate banking services or corporate cash management services. Interviews were conducted in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Subjects covered include product demand, quality of coverage, and capabilities in specific product areas. |
#1 positions in Europe
In the 2021 Greenwich Share and Quality Leaders for European Large Corporate Banking and Cash Management, BNP Paribas consolidates its #1 position as 2021 Greenwich Share Leader in European Top-Tier Large Corporate Banking, increasing market penetration from 52% to 64% and #1 share leader in European Top-Tier Large Corporate Cash Management increasing market penetration from 40% to 43%.The Bank is also the 2021 Greenwich Quality Leader for European Top-Tier Large Corporate Banking and Quality Leader in European Top-Tier Large Corporate Cash Management. These rankings demonstrate the team’s expertise and capabilities in Corporate Banking and Cash Management in Europe.

Between September 2020 and January 2021, Greenwich Associates conducted over 1,200 interviews with financial officers of the main European companies with a sales of more than EUR 500 million, including more than 550 companies with an sales of at least EUR 2 billion in the “Top-Tier European Banking Corporate” category. Subjects covered included bank credit capabilities, domestic and cross-border advisory capabilities and quality of institution and relationship management. In parallel, over 1200 interviews were conducted with corporate officers (mainly treasurers) for the “Top-Tier European Corporate Cash Management” category. |
Quality leader for US Large Corporate Trade Finance
