For the third year running, BNP Paribas is
a major partner at the Movin’On Summit, which is dedicated to sustainable
mobility. Some 5,000 participants will gather for the 2019 Summit in Montreal
on 4-6 June to explore innovative, actionable solutions that will forge the
future of clean and sustainable transport systems across the world.
The
main sponsor Michelin will be joined by its organisational partner C2, with other partners
including the province of Quebec, the city of Montreal, Accenture, Thales and
Total.
The Movin’On Summit 2019
focuses on “Solutions for multimodal ecosystems”, with five themes:
decarbonisation and air quality, multimodal urban transit and society,
innovative technologies, goods transportation and multimodality and the
circular economy.
Attendees will enjoy two and a half days of
presentations, round tables and working sessions on sustainability in mobility,
with 80 speakers and moderators. Forty startups are due to exhibit, and
participants can see demonstrations of innovative transport solutions and
technologies.
Speakers include leaders from cities,
countries, companies and civil society – for example the World Bank’s Senior
Director for the Transport Global Practice, Guangzhe Chen, Portuguese First Secretary of State for
Mobility (and Chairman of the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance Steering
Committee) José Gomes Mendes and sustainability heads from companies such as
BMW and Oracle.
BNP Paribas demonstrates its commitment to
sustainable mobility with the participation of Vice Chairman of Corporate and Institutional Banking EMEA, Sophie Javary, as a keynote speaker.
The Chief Commercial Officer of Arval vehicle leasing, Bart Beckers, and the
Chief Sustainability Officer at BNP Paribas Americas, Hervé Duteil, will be

interested in the same topics to share and discuss experiences and ideas at the
venue.
