BNP Paribas hosted a
series of Sustainable Future Forums across its global hubs in the Americas,
Europe and APAC, bringing together corporates and investors to discuss the
challenges and opportunities of sustainability. The events highlighted
the bank’s commitment and leadership on contributing towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From New York and São
Paulo to Paris and Singapore, the series encompassed panels on green finance,
shifting business models, supply chains, governance, diversity, and clean
energy.
Paris kicked off the series, hosting an engaging forum
that included a captivating keynote from Bertrand Piccard, Initiator and Chairman of
the Solar Impulse Foundation. Track sessions allowed clients to converse
with sustainability specialists about topics including; the investor movement
to incorporate Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), renewable
energy, smart cities and smart mobility. The forum also featured an SDGs
innovation village, showcasing entrepreneurs and start-ups contributing towards the achievement of the
UN SDGs.
