BNP Paribas has won Energy Risk
Asia’s top award for Commodity
Derivatives House of the Year, as well as Base
Metals House of the Year and Commodities
Broker of the Year for 2020.
In awarding BNP Paribas the top
honours, Energy Risk Asia noted that “the bank has been active in supporting
consumers to manage the impact of extreme market moves on their mark-to-market
profiles and volatility through hedging book restructurings” in the face of
the Covid-19 pandemic’s effects on global and regional logistics and
transportation.
This marks the third consecutive
year BNP Paribas has been recognised as Commodity Derivatives House of the
Year, a true recognition of our increased capabilities and strength in commodity
derivatives and risk management. You can hear more from our team of BNP Paribas
experts, Mikko Rusi, Head of FX, Local Markets and Commodity Derivatives, APAC;
Audrey Safra, Head of Commodity Derivatives, APAC; and Paul Saubestre, Head of
Derivatives Execution and Clearing, APAC, in the video below.
In what has been a challenging year for commodities and supply chains,
we are proud that our innovative ideas and solutions have helped clients and
been recognised by the market.
