is proud to be named Green Bond Lead Manager of the Year for Corporates by
thought-leading publication, Environmental Finance. The award recognises the
bank’s expertise, commitment and innovation in helping corporate clients to
access the Green Bond market, as well as supporting sustainable growth. The
judging panel, which included large global investors, selected the winners
primarily on their role as market leaders, speed of delivery and transparency.
BNP Paribas has actively helped to grow the Green Bond market, and in 2017 the bank acted as lead manager and bookrunner for 18 corporate Green Bond deals. This included acting as the green structuring advisor to Anglian Water on the first GBP denominated Green Bond for the utility sector, and bookrunner on the first ever CHF Green Bond from Swiss Corporate, Helvetia.
